When it all started
In 1992, under the sun-kissed skies of the south of France, Ross Armstrong, a visionary English entrepreneur, founded Rossmark. What began as a personal quest for warmth soon evolved into a dynamic business venture that would bridge the gap between French fruit and vegetable producers and European wholesalers.
Ross wasted no time in catalyzing operations, exporting a diverse range of products, including apples, salads, apricots, peaches, and more. The foundation of Rossmark was laid on the principles of reliability, efficiency, and a commitment to delivering the best produce from local French farms to eager European markets.

WHAT WE DO
DISTRIBUTION
Ross Armstrong, the visionary founder of Rossmark 1992, made the strategic decision to relocate to the picturesque countryside of France to embark on a journey of exporting the finest French produce to the world. Initially, a whopping 95% of our exports showcased the diverse range of fruits and vegetables that France is renowned for, from Apples to fresh salads.
However, as the dynamics of the market evolved and competition intensified, we adapted our sourcing strategy. Now, our primary supply emanates from Spain, Morocco, Italy, and the rich soils of Mauritania. We have also expanded our operations to produce in these regions, ensuring the highest quality and freshest produce for our customers.

PRODUCTION
For a long time, Rossmark served as a middleman connecting producers and wholesalers in the UK. As the agricultural sector evolved, we have transitioned to become producers ourselves, with a focus on Africa, specifically Mauritania and Morocco. Our subsidiary, Naturania Fruit, was created through the merging of the high technical agricultural expertise from AC Nature, led by Abderrahim Chakra, and Rossmark which project was led by Liam Armstrong.
We are able to grow a wide variety of products all year round. In Morocco (May 2024), we are currently growing Watermelon, Piel de Sapo, and Sweetcorn until the end of June. From September, we will shift our focus to California peppers and Herbs, particularly Coriander and Mint. In Mauritania, we will be planting Yellow Melons, Mini Watermelons, and Watermelons from November to be harvested in January.
